La ciudad de Rosario es uno de los principales centros urbanos del país por estar en una posición geográficamente estratégica con relación al MERCOSUR, situación que la posiciona en un importante nivel industrial y también turístico.

Ubicada en la provincia de Santa Fe y a 300 km de Buenos Aires, la Capital Federal de la República Argentina, limita al este con el Río Paraná, por donde llegan barcos de considerable calado gracias a las condiciones de navegabilidad del mismo.

Al norte y al sur Rosario limita con los arroyos Ludueña y Saladillo respectivamente, que a su vez cruzan a la ciudad de oeste a este. El relieve de esta zona es de llanura ondulada y el clima es del tipo templado con temperaturas promedios de 24º C de máxima y 12º C de mínima.

La ciudad está comunicada con el resto del país a través de múltiples rutas nacionales y provinciales. Además posee un reconocido aeropuerto a sólo 13 km del centro que recibe una significativa frecuencia de vuelos.

Rosario ofrece una interesante infraestructura turística e invita a ser conocida y recorrida a través de circuitos históricos que mantienen intactos los diferentes estilos arquitectónicos de principios del siglo XX.

El Monumento a la Bandera es quizás el punto de inicio de un paseo a pie por el centro de la ciudad. El complejo turístico Costa Alta y Embarcadero es elegido para realizar caminatas sobre las barrancas del río en los atardeceres.

El Parque Independencia y el Balneario La Florida son otros de los tantos puntos de notoriedad donde se desarrollan paseos en bicicletas, cabalgatas y canotaje, entre otras especialidades. De destacar es la noche rosarina por ser una de las más movidas y alegres, ideales para disfrutar gratos momentos en los distintos bares, pubs y discotecas que tiene Rosario.

Situated in the Province of Santa Fe, Rosario is 300 km away from the Federal District of Argentina. It is one of the main cities of the country since it is located in a strategic place regarding the MERCOSUR (Southern Common Market) and this fact places it in an important industrial and tourist level.

Rosario City borders on the Paraná River to the East where boats with important draught arrive since its navigability conditions are great. To the North and South, it borders respectively on the Ludueña and Saladillo Streams, which also cross the city from west to east. The relief of this area is an undulating plain and the climate is hot with average maximum temperatures of 24º C and average minimum temperatures of 12º C.

Rosario is linked with the rest of the country through many national and provincial routes. Apart from that, there is a well known airport only 13 km away from the city center operating a high number of flights.

Offering an interesting tourist infrastructure, Rosario invites to be visited through the many historical circuits that keep undamaged the different architectonic styles from the beginning of the XX century.

The Monumento a la Bandera (Monument to the Flag) is the starting point to a walk around the city center. Costa Alta and Embarcadero Resorts are chosen to go for walks along the ravines of the river in the sunset. The Parque Independencia (Independence Park) and La Florida Beach are other important sites where tourists can go on bike rides, horse riding excursions or practise canoeing among other activities.

Nightlife in Rosario deserves a special mention since it is busy and lively, providing the ideal atmosphere to enjoy joyful moments in bars, pubs or discos.
